The description for this is all over the place. In fact, it contradicts itself. This jacket just has a stand-up collar, no hood at all. It hits between the hip and the waist. I'd say take 2-3" off of the picture. I bought this for my mother-in-law, and I think she'll like it. It looks a little more structured in the pictures. It's really like a sweat jacket, only made of boucle inside and out. Though it is soft, it has that slightly metallic feel that microfiber has. It has no lining, and is a little less dressy than the picture. It's more of a jacket to wear with jeans than one you would wear to the office. However, because of this, it can be worn inside the house or out. I bought the blue one that looks a little grey, and the color is true, however, it would look nicer if the collar were in the same contrasting color as the sleeve ends and zipper. I bought it right after midnight on May 11 into May 12, and it arrived on May 18, so delivery was pretty quick, though it looked weird on the Tracking Info. I thought it was delivered to another state. So don't panic if this happens to you.
