Cartridges are solid and perform like they should. Threaded for the CO2 pump. One concern, make sure you read the specifics about what quantity you are buying. The picture shows a box of 12-count, however the one I purchased was a 5-count (it was listed correctly but the picture is deceiving). I cannot reduce the rating on the item specifically for this, however the advertising is faulty.
