nice teapot

very nice teapot. lid stays on nicely. looks nice (I just don't like the 'CnGlass' engraved on the lid but otherwise its good) I don't use the built in tea strainer (it hooks into the spout), instead I just put in a teaball or teabag into the pot. The built in one had fairly large holes (its a metal spiral) so might not work well for any finer teas, but wasnt an issue for me.

Good quality, good price.

I've used borosilicate housewares and labware all my life. I own a lot of borosilicate teaware and this is a nice pot. If you do use it on the stove, use less than medium heat and put a wire stovetop trivet on an electric burner to protect the pot. But, I don't recommend putting borosilicate on the stove. I recommend boiling water in a stainless steel saucepan. Use your android phone timer to be there when the water starts boiling and pour the boiled water into the pot.
