Ok, I have mixed feelings on this shelf, I like the size and the height, it has plenty of room for books, pictures, figurines etc., also I really like the sturdiness of it, the shelves are solid as well as the metal poles so it can definitely hold a good amount of weight, and the marble accent on the top and bottom of the shelving is well done, no creases or edges that are raised and coming up and off the plywood. One of my dislikes are the extremely sharp edges of the shelving, there are no rounded edges, the original place I had intended on putting the shelf was not a good spot because every time I would walk by I scratched up my arms and shoulders, and it was a pain to mount on the wall even though it's only 2 screws, but they are very long and there is also two long and wide plastic screw anchors that go with it, so you have to drill pretty big holes in order to get those in. I got frustrated when I decided to move it to a better location, because then I had to fill the holes I made and then make new ones, but at least now no one will be bumping into it. Also, another dislike are the bottoms of the two poles that rest on the ground, there are no caps or covers to protect the floor, it's just raw metal so putting it on a hardwood floor you have to be extremely careful, just moving it around I ended up with a couple scratches on my floors. This is not something I can recommend unless you have a good place to put it that is out of the way and you will not be walking by it a lot, also wherever you put it is where it needs to stay since it has to be wall mounted.
