The "chunky" format is a new skill for my two year olds who are used to using the jumbo knob format. We purchased this chunky puzzle for our granddaughter's second birthday. It was the perfect size for her hands. I liked the fact that the same picture is underneath the puzzle piece, so she could match the pictures not just the shapes.
