first 4500series I owned
Ok this is the first spinfisher I ever owned. I must say Walmart shipping is excellent!! Next, the reel photo is misleading, if you look closely, this reel photo has the drag adjustment at the reel bottom,, this reel does not have that. The drag adjustment is on top of the reel spool, just the way I like them. Anyhow, I was amazed at the weight and the bale sturdiness. This reel is made to take abuse from fish. I love the holes in the spool allowing you to know what yardage you have just put on in line. I have some Peen Fierce reels, and this reel blows them away. For other fishermen, I have this on a 7 foot, medium heavy rod with fast action, I use this rod and reel for walleye and occationally get mixed up with 30-35 inch pike. This reel is superb for them. Will be excellent for 8-10lb cats as well as white bass and largemouth. I would not recommend it for 50 inch musky as well as it would be way to much for 8-10inch rainbow.
