creates workable prints when using ecotank prints

Works very well for my crafts. I'm using an epson ecotank that I print and let dry for a few days. Then apply not too thick and quickly, before I start working on decorating my paper or decoupaging. I also apply on the surface I'm using and let that get tacky. Practice on a few pieces to get the time right for your work and environment. Dries clear and glossy but I add layers on top after this of Kyrlon triple thick crystal clear spray. I place a vented cardboard box after application to prevent dust from settling. Thin layers dry faster. I specifically got this for my printer needs but I use regular or gloss Mod Podge for my other crafting needs. I added the printer type in case others are also searching for a solution to using inkjet or ecotank prints.

Mod podge is a great product. There are a couple of things that should be noted. First pour off what you will need into a separate container just to keep the main jar clean. Second, always wipe carefully around the top with a damp paper towel because it will glue itself down. I learned this the hard way. Test your surface first, just to make sure no pigment lifts off and make the surfaces less bright and clear. You can thin the product with water and color it with acrylic paints.
