Very nice and easy to clean

The Africa placemats are very nice, tasteful addition to the dining room table. While not formal, they are definitely good for everyday use. The motif is elegant. The size is approximately 18 x 12, which is large enough for most dinner plates and cutlery. The material is very soft, but also easy to clean. It does not stain very easily, and can be washed readily in the sink. The only potential suggestions would be to have a more vivid pattern, and to mix it up, rather than having four identical placemats.

Definitely stain resistant/proof

These placemats are very well made. They have some kind of backing which makes them not flimsy to the touch. I took salsa and intentionally put it on one mat. I let it sit and wiped it with a napkin. As you can see in my attached picture it shows the wiped stain. Then I put the placemat under cold water and (wow) the water beaded up and the stain came out completely. I wish the company would put their beautiful elephant scene across the top because by the time you put the plate and utensils on them it covers up the design. I didn't use a charger under the our plates while testing these out and was surprised how well they withstood. After rinsing out the salsa stain then I knew why they did so well. These are a great buy. You'll love them!!!!

great place mats

i love them im in love with elephants, you are not going to believe what im doing with them im buying a huge blank frame to make a photo with them to hang on my living room wall. i want to thank you. very well made.
