Sword of Eowyn - Officially Licensed Lord of the Rings Replica Sword

Eowyn, the Shield-maiden of Rohan, was born in Edoras and endured the tragic early loss of her parents, which forced her to care for her ailing uncle, King Theoden. Under the malicious influence of Saruman and Grima Wormtongue, Theoden's health rapidly declined, leaving Eowyn to shoulder heavy responsibilities. Despite these challenges, Eowyn honed her skills in swordsmanship, surpassing many of the men of Rohan in both craft and prowess. Her sword, nearly three feet in length, was beautifully crafted with a bronze guard and pommel, paying homage to the mearas, the revered horses of Rohan. The hilt was specially designed for Eowyn’s small hand, featuring a raised middle section with three bronze rings for a better grip. A wide fuller groove ran down 3/4 of the blade, reducing its weight while maintaining its strength—characteristic of royal swords from the Kingdom of Rohan. Disguised as a man, Eowyn rode to the Pelennor Fields, where she achieved her greatest feat: slaying the Witch-king of Angmar. Though gravely injured, she was healed by King Elessar and later found peace and love with Faramir.
