Wonderful hold yet wonderful stretch. They do not easily get a run in them. In fact they don't get a run. They just stretch and look good. They're not fragile, but they're great quality and they look wonderful.

Walmart has asked me to write a review for these like ten times now so I'm doing this to get them off my back. I bought these to use the material to cover the intake on a cheap aquarium filter because it was oodles less expensive than getting a whole new rig for a sponge filter. The tank is set up for neon tetras and neocaridina shrimp and if they have any babies I don't want the babies being sucked into the filter. I cut a foot off the tights and rubber banded it over the filter intake and it's working fantastically. I can't say anything about whether these tights are good for clothing, but they're a good strong blackout fabric with just enough breathability to work for an aquarium filter. They hold up well after being submerged underwater for an extended period of time, are non toxic to fish which could probably be turned into a suggestive dirty joke if you wanted, and don't harbor growth of algae, moss, or pests, which I suppose are also all things you likely don't want on your legs or in your crotch. If you're a mermaid who needs tights, these will probably work for you, though you'll likely need to modify them to fit one big tail instead of two little legs. If you're a human who wants to wear these, I can tell you they'll survive if you get pushed into a swimming pool. 10/10 would cover an aquarium filter intake with these tights again.
