Horrible Smell - doesn't seem safe for kids

I ordered this in August for my classroom but due to Covid didn't have a chance to open it up to use in the sensory bin for a few months. There was a terrible smell that didn't dissipate after being out in the open for a while. I contacted School Specialty and they promptly replaced the bag. The new bag smells just as bad. The fumes smell like an auto mechanic's shop, and really doesn't seem safe (or fun) for kids to play in. Do not purchase this sand!
