Material is thick but soft and pliable - not like cheaper boots that sometimes feel like stiff cardboard. Wide width made this boot perfect for me. I wear a 9 and ordered 9W. It fits, but if the 9W were out of stock, I may have been able to make an 8.5W fit with thin socks. I like them so much that I would have tried. Very cute and the zippers make putting them on and taking them off a breeze! Great value for the price!
