Narrow toe box

i love the synthetic material, feels butter soft and looks so good. but the fit is not comfortable for me, since it is close out my choices were limited. i usually wear 8 in other brands (sometimes 7.5), i bought and 8.5 and the toe box is uncomfortably narrow, but the heel is loose and my heel pops out while i walk. the thick sole is very stiff, a bit awkward to walk in, given the heel issue, but i'm hoping it will bend a bit over time. All in all, not a bad shoe, but if i had paid full price i'd be mad about it.
