0016253100022. Pre-Owned: Good condition. CD. Parakeet Album: Songs Of Jimmy Buffett is the first children's album to appear on Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Records. Appropriately, the album consists of Buffett songs as sung by children, specifically the Select Singers of the W.O. Smith/Nashville Community Music School who all aged 10-15 years old. It's a little bizarre to hear these songs as interpreted by children -- fortunately, they stay away from "Let's Get Drunk and Screw" -- since they lack the boozy charm that makes Buffett's records so distinctive. Nevertheless, diehard Parrotheads will find this album amusing and necessary for their children.
