I got both a swim skort and these swim shorts. I wore the skort once and it's going to be donated to a local thrift shop. These shorts, though, are wonderful! They are swim material, but have less of that annoying rustle sound. The pockets are pretty good, but I wish they were a little deeper--don't try to put too much in them, but they do hold your stuff (and your hands). The length is wonderful. Now I won't have that annoying chub rub feeling that I hate. These were comfy immediately. Another win for Lands' End.

The colors haven't faded, the straps haven't slipped, and somehow, even after an entire afternoon of cannonballs, I still look “poolside chic” instead of “washed-up seal.” Lands' End, you've outdone yourselves—I'm ready for summer, and possibly a swimsuit modeling career I never knew I needed.
