When cooked properly the texture and bite are perfect - not that dry spongy crap like most of the others - and they really have that vibrant breakfast sausage flavor. Third, if you're chasing that classic McD's sausage eggamuffin flavor, these are the ONLY ones that nail it! Seriously. Before I tried these, I tried many others in my journey to make the perfect McD's clone muffins for my family, but none of the others met the mark. Pro tips - the best result you'll get from these is cooking on the stove, not the microwave. Preheat a non-stick pan on just a bit lower than medium, place frozen patties in the pan, cook 4 minutes first side, flip, 3 minutes on second side. WAY better than micro. Only sausage I can find on the Walmart website that does not contain MSG. And it has the best texture and taste of all the other frozen sausage patties I've tried.
