Quite intense color. I previously used Watercolors golden mist. When my 8.5 blond would get a bit white to give it a subtle goldeness. I can't seem to get it now so I bought this new intense gold shampoo. It turned the top of my head where I put the shampoo dark orange. The rest of my hair that just got the lather looked great. I since tried adding just a small amount to my regular shampoo and probably didn't use enough so need to keep experimenting. I think it will be nice if I get it right. It probably is great on somewhat darker hair.
