Not as vibrant as I expected

I loved the on-line picture of this print, but in person the background is much darker than I expected (it looks like a dirty canvas, not as white as I thought) and while the skyline is fantastic and the color choices are exceptional, the actual colors are not as vibrant as I'd expected. I do love the skyline so am keeping it, but if I bought it again I'd buy it larger for more color impact
