Mandolin strap

It would've been nice to have instructions on how to put the strap on the mandolin. I won't have the S shaped curl on my instrument, so I wasn't sure how to put the strap on and I didn't have anyone who could help. The DVD didn't show how to apply the strap to my mandolin either. It just showed hows on his S curled mandolin.
