Canoe loader

This item works as described (with minor modifications). This item comes with a 3/4 inch bolt to attach to your trailer hitch. My Toyota Tacoma does not have a hitch, just a 1/2 inch hole in the bumper. Traded out the 3/4 inch bolt for a 1/2 inch bolt and fender washers to fit. I added an eye bolt just below the 'T' bar to attach tie-downs to prevent side to side motion. Our 11 foot Coleman canoe loads just fine and is stable going down the highway. You will need additional tie-downs for stability and safety.
