Painful but Successful Finally
The carburetor configuration was different enough from the original to be confusing but close enough that I could improvise and make it work properly so finally a win there. I almost junked the new carburetor because I also installed the new fuel pump that came in the kit and it was faulty (worse than my original one) and would not work so I had to install another fuel pump to finally confirm the replacement carburetor was not faulty. So a pain in the butt, however in the end, it got my mower percolating!
