The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics card has 4GB of GDDR5 RAM, delivers a sharp, clear picture, and features three DisplayPort 1.2 outputs which support a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Conexant CX20632 5.1 audio codec outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. The Z2 Mini G4 Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. It runs using a 230W external power supply that is 89% efficient and operates using 100-240 VAC at 47-63 Hz. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am delighted with this tiny computer's perforance so far. Mine runs cool all the time with a very quiet 17 inch laptop fan stationed underneath. This little gem was built to my specifications for use as a dedicated digital music server with my audio system. It's equipped with one of the most capable Xeon processors available, 32 GB of memory, 1TB PCIe SSD internal storage and the Thunderbolt3 Flexport. I elected for no internal HDD to reduce internal heat and for no discrete graphics card since the CPU's graphics capabilities are expected to be more than adequate for any of my music videos. I access my digital music files from multiple 4 TB USB3 external hard drives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the Z2G4 for only a couple of weeks, but so far, better than expected. Very glad I got a Xeon processor. Only regret is that I got 32GB of RAM, instead of 64GB, but that is easily fixed. Performance is great, all tested external devices function properly, including two different hubs (USB 3 Gen 1 & Gen 2). Will be doing some performance testing in the future, but expect better performance than the traditional workstation CAD system this is to replace.

Great Workstation at a Reasonable Price
I bought this to augment my laptop for use at home. I do software development and digital photography and wanted to be able to drive 2 4K monitors and not suffer any performance degradation. The key advantage of the Z2 workstation is being able to customize it to meet your needs and while its more upgradable than a laptop it does have some limitations compared to a full sized PC case. I chose to put everything I needed into mine, dedicated graphics processor with support for 3 monitors (someday ;-), a price efficient high end 8 core Intel processor, and future expansion via thunderbolt port. I couldn't be happier with how CLEAN!!! the Windows 10 install was. None of the usual "crapware" that robs performance, adds potential hacking vectors and needs to be removed. As far as performance goes I will leave that to the experts but I joked with my son that I think it is asking for my Login before my finger is off the power button. Having an external power block certainly helps but I can't believe how quiet the device is especially considering how tightly packed the components are somehow HP engineered enough air flow that the fan only runs under the heaviest of loads. I was please when it was delivered ahead of schedule even during the work at home buying frenzy. I've only owned mine for a few week now but couldn't be more pleased with my decision to purchase this unit.
