The Tripp Lite N785-INT-PLCMM1 is an economical and versatile media converter that extends your copper Gigabit Ethernet network connection over longer distances using multimode fiber optic cable, while also providing Power over Ethernet (PoE) and PoE+ capabilities. This unit converts a multimode fiber optic signal to a copper Ethernet signal, simultaneously extending both power (48 VDC) and 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet up to 550 meters (1,804 feet). It's an ideal solution for powering and providing data to PoE and PoE+ devices such as security cameras, VoIP telephones, point-of-sale kiosks, and access control devices, especially in locations far from AC outlets like poles or ceilings. The N785-INT-PLCMM1 is plug-and-play, requiring no additional software or drivers for setup, and features automatic network speed sensing, full/half-duplex auto-detection, and automatic MDI/MDIX configuration for easy integration. Six LEDs offer quick visual status updates on power, PoE, Ethernet network, and fiber link. It comes with an external power supply and a set of four international power cables (North America, Europe, UK, Australia) for global compatibility.
