Note: New Drum Unit MUST BE RESET After Assembling
Step1: ASSEMBLING
①Press the locking lever to remove old drum unit from toner cartridge.
②Put the toner cartridge firmly into the new drum unit until it clicks into place.
③Slide the cleaning tab gently 2-3 times to clean corona wire.
④Return the tab to the Home position(▲). The arrow on the tab needs to be aligned with ther arrow on the drum unit.
⑤Install the assembled toner cartridge into the printer.
Step2: RESET DRUM UNIT
Printer will pop up "Replace Drum" error message without resetting new drum unit. Please follow below operations to reset drum based on your printer model.
For printer model:HL-L2350DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2370DWXL
A. Close the front cover
B. Press "Menu" and then "Back / Clear", the printer is in "Ready" state
C. Press "OK" and "▲" at the same time
D. Press "OK" to select "Drum"
E. Press "▼" to reset the drum counter
For printer model: MFC-L2710DW, HL-L2390DW, DCP-L2550DW
A. Close the front cover
B. Press "Menu" and then "Back / Clear", the printer is in "Sleep" state
C. Press "OK" and "▲" at the same time
D. Press "OK" to select "Drum"
E. Press "▲" to reset the drum counter
For printer model: HL-L2395DW, MFC-L2730DW, MFC-L2750DW, MFC-L2750DWXL
A. Close the front cover
B. Press " X "
C. Press and hold "Toner icon" for 5 seconds
D. Press "Drum", and then press "Yes"
