was cautious kf the size prior tokrdering but knce received and buklt, it is a great size, my 16yr old daughter loves it and we sre a twll family. the trundle underneath helps and still leaves 16in for storage on the opposite side of the bed than the trundle is on. the wood is of good quality, feels very secure and stable. its been a month kf continuous use and we are very happy.
