Great to hold heavy choir books (mine 4 lbs) without any problem. Extremely easy to put together, 3 pieces, took me less than 5 mins. Very easily to manipulate higher or lower. I am 5 ft 6" and I raised it up to my chest so I could watch conductor while eyeing the music. Well-built, tray does not tilt, which is what I was looking for. Great buy go for it.

Much better than those wire ones that kids get for school. Skip those and order this one, which is more like the professional ones they use in the band or orchestra hall. Find a nice little rug or rug square to prevent scratching a hard floor surface.
