The Girls Socks Quilting Girl

They are gorgeous bought them for my daughter,she loves them,and they easy up great.

These are very cute socks. I received them this morning-I've had plenty of time to look them over. These are described as Denim Blue and I suppose that's true if denim is dark with undertones of grey/black. They do not look like the photo---if you are expecting a sort of soft denim wash color you won't get that. ( I didn't) I looked at the socks in all natural light-there is no way they are the color in the picture. Blue is my favorite color and it looks good on me--I have no problem with variations of blue (except the violets and royal colors)-just wanted on line shoppers to know-about the color. The knitting girl on the socks is toned down and pretty...it doesn't scream "whimsical socks!" Not that there's anything wrong with that. I wear lots of flats and loafers, its hard to get cute,fairly thin socks that don't look too formal or too casual.Dress pants socks remind me of suntan pantyhose and casual socks are for sneakers. I'm always on the look-out for blues,greys light flowered patterns ---socks that 'work' with casual leather slip-ons.These are a good length they fit properly (9) and roll down ever so slight. I wore them all day and they did not slip or bunch up--they weren't meant for warmth. They will wear well with my new Walmart jeans,my 'other' jeans and the jeans I've worn for 6yrs. This is why I have pants panic in the fitting room! When I actually BUY clothes its because my closet looks like a retirement home for styles gone by--due for a comeback! Thanks!
