Tulip Etimo crochet hook

I bought my first Tulip Etimo "J " hook in a Chicago craft store at a much higher cost. When I saw Walmart had the hooks, I ordered 2 sizes at a much, much lower price. I love these light weight, soft handled hooks. They fit my hand comfortably. I've tried several cheaper brands. After trying the Tulips Etimo I won't use anything else. I received them the next day after I placed the order. Excellent service. I plan to order more from Walmart.

I bought a K hook a while back just to test it out. I've been hooked ever since! I ended up buying my common used sizes. I'm a pencil holder that has tried nearly every hook from Bates, Boye, Clover to Store Brands. I love the handle and appreciate the flat back rather than rounded on the Clover Amour. They gave me cramps in my fingers. This hook slides like butter and it's super smooth. The head is slightly more bulbous than Clover. It doesn't stab the stitch but rather pushes smoothly through. The shaft is slightly longer than the Clover soft touch and Amour. The rubber part grip feels smoother as well. I don't care for the others that imprint the size on the handle. Boye/Crochet Dude irritated my fingers. These hooks have rolled all the qualities that a hook should have into one. I found WalMart has the best price!
