Extremely easy to clean
I received this roasting pan just in time for Thanksgiving. I did not have a turkey, but I roasted two 6 lb chickens. Both chickens fit perfectly in the roaster together. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The true test for this roasting pan was fo after I used it for cooking. I have thrown out several pans in the past because they were impossible to clean after using. I was so at how easy this pan was to clean. I actually left it sitting on the stove overnight, so I figured all the pan drippings would need to be soaked off. I rinsed it and all the funk on the bottom washed off. I was amazed! Once I added soap, it was a cinch to clean the rest. This roasting pan is definitely a keeper, and I will definitely recommend it to family and friends.
All I can say is 'WOW' !!!
Have been using a covered stainless steel roasting pan forever. Since this arrived just before Thanksgiving, I decided to try it this year! It easily accommodated my 14 pound turkey and would have handled a 20 pound one, had I had one that large! The rack is perfect -- better than any I've used before! The interior really is non-stick, and cleaning up was a breeze. The turkey was perfect... crispy skin, juicy inside. Couldn't ask for anything more. Would also be good for a very large sheet cake or one of those one-pan baking pan dinner recipes!
Great lightweight roaster !!
Received this roaster as a member of the Sparks Reviewer Program and it arrived on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving! This year I roasted two 10 pound birds and was able to put them side by side in this one pan. I love the weight of the pan, it is not heavy on its own, so when you put the meat in the pan you can lift it without the aid of additional family members. It is nonstick which is also a big plus. As I have gotten a little older, my fifties, I have come to appreciate nonstick and lightweight cookware. I was impressed with this Mainstays roaster right out of the box, thanks again Walmart !
