Dogs are now responding

Bought 2 of these about 3 weeks ago for my 2 LGD's. The rechargeable batteries last quit a while and charge quick. These collars have up to a 3/4 mile range and work well on the 7 acres the dogs have with the livestock. Collars work so well, I do t even need to do the stimulation function now, jusg the tone some.

Very nice training collar

I bought this collar a couple months ago so I could offer my dog some freedom out in the woods and teach her to find sheds. I also use it to help in problem areas of her basic obedience (reinforcing come and her leave it command) Having a lab she likes to use her mouth so this collar helps me to correct her if she tries eating things she shouldn't. Overall the range has been good, the collar is easy to set up for my dogs personal needs, and after a few months is still working great despite my dog being a little rough on it. I like that the control device I can set the way I want along with the collar as well. I also like that the tone and vibrate options are separate. The hand control device is easy to maneuver and work off of while in the woods. The only things to improve would be that the hand control device goes into sleep mode pretty quickly and you have to wake it before being able to correct and for my case it has made me miss a few corrections here and there. I've combated this by just being more vigilant about making sure it's not in sleep mode when we're training. I also find that switching correction levels can be a little tedious when there is a bigger jump between correction levels. When my girl is in the woods or overstimulated her correction level is a 7/8 where at home/ in a less stimulating environment it's a 3/4. Clicking down or up to get to levels can be tedious when I need a lesser or higher correction depending on where we are. Overall if someone is looking for a collar to get started on or is looking for a well thought out collar with a nice range I would not hesitate to recommend this collar. It's helped build the bond between my girl and I and offered her freedom when out in the woods.

Great collar!!

I bought this collar to replace a older (20 years) training collar. I really like the rechargeable remote/collar and the features. Very simple to set up, waterproof, lightweight. I like the replaceable collars so each dog can have a different color. So far it works great and a charge on the collar last a really long time. I would definitely recommend this collar.
