broke my shoulder in three places and was confined to a sling with body wrap for three months. lost my grip and all arm muscles. got this a month before PT began. i should have bought it sooner. couldn't even hold it at first but I'm almost healed now and will continue to use this to maintain my grip as i age. it has contributed to my rehabilitation. i keep it in the car now to distract me while sitting in traffic.
