Warning: the Joy-Con rail screws are torqued down and can easily strip. Make sure that you’re using a JIS #0 screwdriver to remove them.

Replace a broken or malfunctioning Joy-Con sensor rail on the LEFT side of your Switch console. Each rail has a set of pin contacts that interlock with contacts on the Joy-Con to pass charge, and button presses to the motherboard via ribbon cable.

For your safety, discharge the battery below 25% before disassembling your Switch. This reduces the risk of fire if the battery is accidentally damaged during the repair. If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions.

To install this product the console will need to be disassembled, this will void any warranty and is done at owners risk. Please seek professional help if unsure.

A Tri-wing & philips screwdriver are required to open the controller to install, a pair of electrical tweezers are also recommended to release ribbon cables. (The tools NOt included)
