Senokot-S Natural Vegetable Laxative Plus Stool Softener, Tablets relieves occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces a bowel movement in 6 -12 hours. Senokot Laxatives contain no harsh impurities (stems, leaves or seeds) which can cause intestinal distress. For your comfort, the active ingredient in senokot laxatives is always Purified Senna. Offers the additional benefit of a stool softener when hard, dry stools cause discomfort. DIRECTIONS: Recommended dosage (or as directed by a doctor): Take preferably at bedtime. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 2 tablets once a day (maximum: 4 tablets twice a day, not to exceed 8 tablets in a day). Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 tablet once a day (maximum: 2 tablets twice a day, not to exceed 4 tablets in a day).
