Buttonhole instructions written poorly

This is my second singer sewing machine. The first one lasted 40 years! It works very well. In a month of use I've already made 12 clothing items. Two thoughts about this machine:1) I do not like not having a booklet for the instructuon manual. I love that you're saving trees, but this is one type of item when it's really useful to have a tangible item in which to make notes. Which would help with item number 2) The instructions for how to make a buttonhole need to be re-written. There is no way I would have figured out to pull that magic handle down AND push it back without going to the video. No one could figure out how to write that?

Nice beginner machine!

I purchased this machine as a beginner and I really like it. I made a pair of pajama pants with a fun print. The sewing machine cover that came with it is a bit of joke, though. I don't see why they even mentioned it, it's like tissue paper.
