I had searched for a long time for a rechargeable lamp that would be small and when I ran across this one, I really liked it because it folds in many different directions. I wanted to use it to work on my dazzle dot pictures and I figured it would work really well cause I could rearrange it anyway I wanted it when I got it. I plugged it in and it turned on just fine so I charged it and when I unplugged it, it would not work unless it was plugged in very disappointing considering I wanted a rechargeable lamp that I did not have to keep connected to a cord. I went ahead and charge it overnight for good measure still does not work without staying plugged in and it is a enclosed unit. You cannot open it and change a battery so when the battery is done, you would've had to leave it plugged in to make it work. I'm gonna go ahead and try to order another one just in case I happen to get a bad one I did get five dollars off so I can at least still keep it and use it, but it will have to be plugged in in order to work.
