Initial Reaction

I haven't had it long enough to judge the endurance, but initial reaction is it's a quality pan. Sleek, ergonomic, stylish. The rubber on the lid handle is a nice touch. I do wish the lid had a strainer. It has been non-stick on what I've cooked in it...oatmeal, gravies, soups.

Excellent quality.

I think this is my favorite cooking pot that I have ever owned (which is a lot). It's great to cook with -- and to clean. It's beautiful, with a lovely cream-colored ceramic interior. The instructions suggest "seasoning" the surface (wipe cooking oil on it, heat the pan, let it cool, that's it). In any case, it is very non-stick -- amazing. For cleaning, it literally wipes off in warm soapy water a second or two. The pan is perfect for sauces, with a curved edge on the bottom, so a whisk can pick up any flour or other dry ingredients from the "edges" of the pan and mix it into the liquids easily. The pot is very well made and the aluminum is quite thick, yet light enough to handle easily, and the bottom is extra thick for even heating and cooling at a lower heat. It heats up very quickly. The handle is comfortable, very strong, and well-attached. Even the glass lid is super heavy duty. The lid is oven safe to 250 degrees, and the pot up to 350 degrees. I have found that it is a perfect size -- big enough but not too big -- for almost everything I need to cook in a pot and it's my favorite pan to cook with.

Top of line

I received the pot and could tell it was well made.So heavy ceramic inside but a kind that doesn't stick I made stew put the onions in to carmelized and without oil and it worked no sticking it keeps heat so well it browns and doesn't steam the handle is the greatest it curves so easy to hold .The too fits snug so you have no air escaping doesn't wiggle and it doesn't burn. Its made in Italy and I wish I had a whole set of these if you are thinking about buying a pan or pot buy this brand you will be so happy.
