Which apparently it is a twin size sent to me when I thought I was getting a queen size. I haven't actually been able to use it yet as I haven't got a twin size bed. This looks like and feels well-made and of good quality and the elastic part of it seems adequate to fit and stay on a mattress very well. This item would be very handy for those who have a twin bed. This mattress pad is quilted lightly and is waterproof which helps protect your mattress from sweat and other accidental stains which could occur. This mattress pad is made of 100 percent polyester and is machine washable as well as can be dried in the clothes dryer. The care instructions are machine wash in cold water, on the gentle cycle, using NO Bleach, and tumble dry on low setting. I followed the instructions for care and the mattress pad came out of the laundry just as nice as when it was new. The elastic on the sides of it is reinforced on all corners and has plenty of stretch and seems it would stay in place very well. I will be using it on my sofa under the cover to protect the cushions from spills and such which commonly occur with children and adults. This fits a 2 cushion couch length wise and can be tucked in behind the cushions for a snug fit.
