2x is more like a 1x or extra-large then you have the straps it's hard to get into it and not try to tear the material at the same time it is kind of cheaply-made especially the Gatherings that go on the top mine didn't even come with the Gatherings I was missing all three pieces and then there was string hanging out everywhere it would have been better if it was Luther around the bust area because it's so snug it makes it feel like you're almost in a girdle so I definitely will not be purchasing another one if I knew it wouldn't cost me money to send the ship back I would
