Great basics to follow on raising a toddler

I love all the BabyWise books! Great schedule information especially.

A Must Have

I appreciate that the author has much to say about this wonderful age. Too many people have heard the phrase "the terrible twos" and assume that it has to be that way! Toddler life can be a pleasant experience, and this book helps with discipline, teaching, and bonding in a wonderfully sweet way. Potty training is difficult enough without making it complicated and desperate. Toddler Wise does SUCH a good job of explaining a toddler's ability to think and reason, and breaks down the process of toilet training into manageable steps. But that's not all... toddlers need to explore, and they need to be safe. Finding the right balance between the two is WORK for the parents, and this book will help parents see how to best raise their own particular child with his own unique needs. I think this book is great for first time moms and dads who might feel overwhelmed, but also for families that are reading about integrating a toddler into an existing group of kids.
