These are the best pants. I have been wearing them for years. I am sad because they are getting harder and harder to find in the store and online. They fit well, have a drawstring and pockets, and the fabric is loose and doesn't cling to me. I have lost weight, and have bought a 3X, 2X, 1X, and now an XL. I don't know what I am going to do if Walmart stops selling these pants.

Very comfortable around the waist

Not all colors are true to size. The navy and the gray fit the same, but the taupe were too small which didn't matter because I didn't like the color after I saw them in person. The navy are my favorite and look nice enough that I think you could wear them just about anywhere where casual wear is appropriate. They wash and dry nicely thus far too!
