If taken 15 to 60 minutes before eating, these acidity control tablets can even stop heartburn and sour stomach before they start. This makes it easier to enjoy a variety of foods and drinks. Give the acid relief medication to adults or children ages 12 years and up experiencing these symptoms. The bottle contains a 100-count of tablets and has a ridged cap, providing a strong grip when opening and closing. On the side of the package is a list of tips for managing heartburn. These include not lying flat or bending over after eating and eating slowly. The acid reducer tablets contain an active ingredient and formula comparable to Pepcid AC's, providing similar results.
