Chamberlain Whisper Drive 1/2 Hp Belt Drive Garage Door Opener Access System With 2 Remote Controls

We bought this to replace an older off-brand opener that died. Installation was straightforward, took about an hour to remove the old and install the new one. The result is a super quiet garage door (just hear the door itself in its tracks, not the loud chain drive of the old unit). We tried using LED bulbs in the sockets since these lights stay on a lot more than the old one with the motion sensor feature. There are some approved LED bulbs listed on their website, but ours were not on the list. The result was unpredictable failure of the remotes when the lights were on which was obviously not acceptable. Switched to CFLs instead. The MyQ feature has worked like a dream, alerting us when the door is opened and closed and allowing us to check and close the door from bed if need be. Sometimes the alerts don't get sent to both our phones, but we haven't seen one miss on both phones yet.
