I bought the doll for myself. I wanted to see how it compared to the Living Barbie of the late 1960's or early 1970's. I'm sad to see Barbie reflecting victimhood narratives but I guess that's something to complain to Mattel about. Overall, I'm satisfied with the doll as a product.

beautiful and poseable

she is soooo pretty I absolutely love her I think her eyebrows and makeup are a little bit dark for her light hair but the lip color looks very natural and beautiful and she's got nice light blush I love that she is poseable and I'm so excited to make videos of her using the little miniature things that I make! she did have a little bit of extra plastic in her elbow but I just pinched it and twisted it around and it came off and I'm sure I could take a little nail file and smooth out the little spot. The biggest thing I dislike is that her arm cannot bend enough for her hand to come close to her face.... 🤦🏼‍♀️ she can't even do a face palm lol
