Red Lantern 20" Bamboo Lattice Umbrella Stand

I love my new umbrella stand. It looks exactly on the outside as shown and fits in well with my decor. I had read the reviews before I purchased and the reviews said a drawback to the piece was that the inside of the ceramic stand was not finished off well. As that did not matter to me, I bought it anyway. The reviews were correct. The inside has a very messy unpainted look!!! More than even the reviews led me to believe! It looks like whatever paint from the outside paint job that dripped in was just left like that. It should be fully painted black for a more polished look. I intend to do that myself in the near future, but it would have been nicer if that was done at the production site. The piece itself ( and knowing about the inside) is really beautiful on the outside and that part of the piece is painted well. It is a very good price as most of the other umbrella stands were more costly but I am not sure the dimensions for the height and weight were the same, so I might be comparing apples to oranges. I am using it for my many canes as opposed to umbrellas and it is a perfect height for that use. I recommend the product but buyer beware, the inside does need a finishing touch if you are planning on using it and where the inside might be seen.
