After I've thoroughly rinsed the hose, I pop the CAPS on both ends. This means no more nasty drips in the storage bay or on my hands. It's designed to FIT multiple sewer inlet sizes (both threaded and smooth pipes), so you don't have to worry about arriving at a park and not having the right connection. ​Overall, I can't recommend this hose enough.
