In the wake of the popular Hong Kong Jiang Shi quot;hopping vampirequot; movies, producer-director John Fasano (writer of ANOTHER 48 HOURS) jumped into the mix with this English language take on the strange Chinese monster genre. James Hong (BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA, BLADE RUNNER) stars as a local wizard who keeps the growing population of hopping vampires in check, until he runs afoul of a vicious street gang. Also starring Frank Deitz and Marilyn Tokuda. DVD features include a commentary track with director John Fasano and actress Marilyn Tokuda as well as an enhanced-widescreen transfer.
