Hercules tires let me highlight my real needs and to not focus on those not so important With all of the options and performance combinations, my tire technician and I have come up with the tire I need, the ROADTOUR 455, Touring Tire, All Seasons. It meets my price/performance requirements. Hercules has been developing, delivering and refining tires for more than half a century. My satisfaction with the tires I have acquired for my vehicles relates directly to how well I conveyed my desires to the tire technician. The two main factors in tire selection are cost and performance, i.e., mileage. There is a relationship in that high performance tires cost more that standard tires. A purchaser can achieve the mileage of high performance tires by maintaining a sound maintenance program. I choose the mid range tires and take care of them. Choose the tread pattern and tire composition for the season you will do most of your driving in. A winter tread will not serve well if you only have two weeks of winter as well as a summer dry season tire will not work well in winter. I choose an all season tire and drive accordingly.

I have a 2015 Nissan versa, 185/65R15. I had a set of continental tires that came on it only lasted about 34,000 miles. This last set of Hercules Road tour 455 has lasted me from 34,000 to 127,000 miles on my car. I will be honest I have only rotated them maybe 3 times. And it has been awhile since a rotation now. My back two tires are at normal replacement tread and my front 2 tires are pretty badly worn. I go slow in the rain. I ordered another exact set for install by local dealer tomorrow. Also my small car does not hydroplane or loose grip when I hit puddles with these tires at all. They are good tires I totally recommend them to anyone!
