The result is 3 inches of extra clearance without having to change shock length or any of the mounting points. The 3 inches of clearance you gain is equivalent to mounting a tire that’s 6 inches taller, so with that extra space you’ll clear a surprising amount of obstacles that would normally scrape and catch on the stock trailing arms.
