These skates are amazing for the price I paid for them. I got a pair for my son and I to give quad skating a fair-er chance. Before these, I had only rented skates in the rink and used $20 Temu quads at the skatepark. My son just had his old Roller Derby Adjustables. The skate plates and wheels themselves were more than worth the price. The skates themselves ride very well, and even as an budding beginner, I had few problems with performance. Toe stops grinding down from going fast and braking is typical 🤭😅 The quality of the boot is really where my feelings about these fall off here. The fit was pretty good, and the insole is quite comfortable. The material inside of tongue on the boot is flexible to a degree, but after 2 uses, it's beginning to wear and peel at the strings. From here, I must also mention that I have yet to work out the wrinkles inside of the boot. As a result, there is digging against my foot from use over time. This problem made thrice as apparent when my son's foot was rubbed open at the bend from the tongue from his first use. We're not the type to leave things astray, so thicker socks and attention to the tongue are important to note for buyers. As for the peeling top material, I hear there are ways to reinforce/protect it from scratches. The rest are just matters of care and consideration that are common with lots of people who quad skate. Definitely a neat intro pair/pinch-hitter for the journey 🛼
