I can't speak much to how they help my dog, because his fear of slippery floors seems to be in his head, but I am amazed at how well these stay on. I had read reviews of the more expensive brand of toe grippers and heard that they don't stay on very well if the dog runs around or walks on gravel so I didn't want to risk spending a lot if we were going to be losing them left and right.
